How long does boiler installation take?
Most installations take 1–2 days, depending on the job:
- Like-for-like swap – usually done in a single day
- Changing boiler type or location – may take 2–3 days
- Full system upgrade – could take up to a week

How much does a boiler installation cost?
Prices vary based on boiler type, property size, and complexity.
Typical range: £1,500–£4,500, including materials and labour.
We offer fixed quotes so you know exactly what you’re paying—no surprises.
Do I need a boiler installation certificate?
Yes, and we’ll handle it for you. Every new boiler must be registered with Gas Safe and comply with Building Regulations. You’ll receive a certificate after installation—essential if you ever sell your home.
Who installs the boiler?
Only Gas Safe registered engineers can legally install boilers in the UK. Our Fired Up team is fully certified, experienced, and local to you—so you’re in safe hands.
Can I install the boiler in a new location?
Yes, we can relocate your boiler if needed. Kitchens, cupboards, or utility rooms are common choices. We’ll assess the space and make sure everything’s compliant and efficient.
Will I need new pipework or radiators?
Sometimes. If your current system is outdated or incompatible, we may recommend upgrades for safety and performance. We’ll explain everything clearly before work begins.
Can I upgrade to a smart thermostat?
Absolutely. We can install smart thermostats during your boiler upgrade to give you better control and energy savings.
What happens during installation?
